【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesascreeningmethodforfoodsthatcontainDNA.Itisbasedonmicro-gelelectrophoresisofsinglecellsornucleitodetectDNAfragmentationpresumptivetoirradiationtreatment[1]to[8].TheDNACometAssayisnotradiationspecific,therefore,itisrecommendedtoconfirmpositiveresultsusingastandardizedmethodtospecificallyproveanirradiationtreatmentoftherespectivefood,e.g.EN1784,EN1785,EN1786,EN1787,EN1788,EN13708,andprEN13751.Interlaboratorystudieshavebeensuccessfullycarriedoutwithanumberoffoodproducts,bothofanimalandplantoriginsuchasvariousmeats[9]to[11],seeds,driedfruitsandspices[6],[12].Otherstudies[13]to[32]demonstratethatthemethodisapplicabletoalargevarietyoffoodstuffs,butalsothatlimitationsexist(seeclause8).
