【摘要】:ThisclauseofPart1isreplacedbythefollowing.ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththesafetyofelectricinstantaneouswaterheatersforhouseholdandsimilarpurposesandintendedforheatingwaterbelowboillingtemperature,theirratedvoltagebeingnotmorethan250Vforsigle-phaseappliancesand480Vforotherappliances.Appliancesnotintendedfornormalhouseholdusebutwhichneverthelessmaybeasourceofdangertothepublic,suchasappliancesintendedforuseinshops,inlightindustryandonfarms,arewithinthescopeofthisstandard.Asfarasispracticable,thisstandarddealswiththecommonhazardspresentedbyappliancesthatareencounteredbyallpersonsinandaroundthehome.However,ingeneral,itdoesnottakeintoaccount–theuseofappliancesbyyoungchildrenorinfirmpersonswithoutsupervision;–playingwiththeappliancebyyoungchildren.
