【摘要】:Itisverydifficulttoexcludesamplecontaminationbyambientairduringtheprocessofsampling.Thelevelsofatmosphericcontaminationcausedbypoorsamplingmethodsareoftenequaltoorlargerthanthelevelsofthegaseousimpuritiespresentinthechlorine.Thisresultsinmarkedlyelevatedlevelsofdetectedimpurities.Asspecificationsbecometighter,itbecomesmoreimportanttomeasurethegaseousimpuritylevelsinliquidchlorinecorrectly.Additionalproblemsareexperiencedinthesamplingofliquefiedgasesforthegaseousimpurities.Thegaseousimpuritiesreachanequilibriumbetweentheliquidphaseandvaporphaseinasamplebomb.Thequantityofgasesmeasuredinanyparticularsamplecontainingbothliquidandvaporwillbeafunctionoftheamountofvaporspaceinthesamplebomb.Thistestmethodavoidsthepresenceofliquidinthesamplebomb.1.1Thistestmethodcoverssamplingandanalysisofliquidchlorineforthedeterminationofoxygen(200to400x03BC;g/g),nitrogen(400to800x03BC;g/g),andcarbondioxide(800to1000ppm)contentatlevelsnormallyseeninliquidchlorine.Hydrogenandcarbonmonoxideconcentrationsinliquidchlorinearetypicallyatorbelowthedetectionlimitofthistestmethod.Note18212;Theminimumdetectionlimitofhydrogenusinga1cm3gassampleandargoncarriergasis100to200x03BC;g/g.Thedetectionlimitfortheothercomponentsissignificantlylower.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3ReviewthecurrentMaterialSafetyDataSheets(MSDS)fordetailedinformationconcerningtoxicity,firstaidprocedures,andsafetyprecautions.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardsstatementsaregiveninSection7.
