【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversflat-bottom,upright,cylindricaltanksmoldedinone-pieceseamlessconstructionbyrotationalmolding.Thetanksaremoldedfrompolyethyleneforaboveground,verticalinstallationandarecapableofcontainingaggressivechemicalsatatmosphericpressure.Includedarerequirementsformaterials,properties,design,construction,dimensions,tolerances,workmanshipandappearance.Tankcapacitiesarefrom1900L[500gal]up.1.2Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverthedesignofvesselsintendedforuseatpressuresotherthanatmosphericpressure.Furthermore,thisspecificationdoesnotcoverthedesignofportabletanks.Itisalsonotforvesselsintendedforusewithliquidsheatedabovetheirflashpoints,ortemperaturesabove66C[150176;F]forTypeItanksand60176;C[140176;F]forTypeIItanksforcontinuousservice.NFPAStandards30and31shallbeconsultedforinstallationsthataresubjecttotherequirementsofthesestandards.1.3Specialdesignconsiderationsnotcoveredinthisspecificationshallbegiventovesselssubjecttosuperimposedmechanicalforces,suchasseismicforces,windloadoragitation;tovesselssubjecttoservicetemperatureinexcessof23176;C[73.4176;F];andvesselssubjecttosuperimposedpressureexceeding25.4cm[10in.]ofwateror2.5103MPa[0.36psi].1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsareforinformationonly.ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section11,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
