【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverslimestonesuitableforuseasdustincoalminestopreventcoaldustexplosions.Note18212;Limestonecanserveasasourceofincombustiblematerialincoalmineoperations.Limestoneisdustedontocoalexposuresinsufficientamountsothatnotlessthan65%ofallloosedustshallbelimestoneincombustiblematerial.Inreturnaircoursestheconcentrationofincombustiblematerialsshouldbenotlessthan80%ofthetotaldust(MSHA30CFR75.403).Withsuchaconcentrationoflimestoneincombustiblematerial,dustexplosionscannotinitiateorbepropagatedfromnearbygasexplosions.Thelimestonemustbesubstantiallydryinordertodustsatisfactorily.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.
