【摘要】:ThisPublishedDocumentgivesguidanceonassessingrisksandrecognizinguncertaintiesinthedevelopment,manufactureanduseofnanomaterials,andondevelopingandimplementinganeffectivestrategytoaddressandcontroltherisks.ItisapplicabletoawiderangeofnanomaterialsandnanostructuredmaterialsasdefinedinPAS136,includingnanoparticles,nanofibres,nanopowders,nanotubesandnanowires,genericallyreferredtoasnano-objects,aswellasaggregatesandagglomeratesofthesematerials.Italsocoversanymaterialorpreparationinwhichsuchnanomaterialscompriseasignificantproportion.Thisguideisnotapplicabletoincidentallyproducednanoparticles,suchasdieselexhaustandweldingfumes.NOTEForthepurposesofthisguidethetermsnanoparticleandnanomaterialareusedinterchangeablytorefertoallofthenanomaterialtypeslistedabove.ThisPublishedDocumentrecognizesthatthereisconsiderableuncertaintyaboutmanyaspectsofeffectiveriskassessmentofnanomaterials,includingthehazardouspotentialofmanytypesofnanoparticlesandthelevelsbelowwhichindividualsmightbeexposedwithminimallikelihoodofadversehealtheffects.Theguidethereforerecommendsacautiousstrategyforhandlinganddisposingofnanomaterials.

【摘要】:Undernormalusage,deglazingloadsaregenerallyappliedparalleltotheplaneoftheglazingmaterialandeccentrictothesashelementwhenitisopened,closed,orliftedoutoftheframe.Whenoperatinghardwareispresent,torsionalforcesmaybeincreased.Openingandclosingforcesarenormallyappliedfromtheinteriorsideonly.Slidingglassdoorpanelsareactivatedfrombothsides.Theabilityoffenestrationproductstoresistdeglazingforcesmayvarywithanumberoffactors.Thesefactorsshouldbeconsideredwhenselectingtestspecimensorwheninterpretingtestresults.Beddingcompoundsinnewlyassembledsashesmaynotreachfullstrengthuntiltheyhavebeenallowedtocureforseveraldaysorweeks.Somesashmaterialsaresubjecttoshrinkageatlowtemperaturesandincreasedelasticityathightemperatures.Therefore,asashcontainingthesematerialsmayexhibitarangeofdeglazingresistanceduetovaryingtemperatureconditions.Normalmanufacturingtolerancesandclearancesinsashmembersandglazingmaterialsmayalsoaffectdeglazingresistance.Further,althoughfenestrationproductsaredesignedtooperatewithincertainforcelimits,improperinstallation,wear,andabusemayincreasetheforcesnecessaryforsashoperation.Whendeterminingwhichmembersofagivensashshallbetestedfordeglazingresistance,considerationmustbegiventothemannerinwhichthesashmaybeoperatedwhennormallyinstalled.Handlesandliftdevicesareusuallylocatedonthesashfortheconvenienceoftheoperatorandthereforedictatethenormaldirectionofoperation.TestMethodApresentsatechniqueforactualmeasurementofthedeglazingforcesofanindividualsashmember.TestMethodBpresentsatechniqueformeasuringthedeglazingforceoftwooppositemembers.Thistestmethodisintendedforqualitycontrolmeasurements.1.1Thesetestmethodsmeasuretheresistanceofelementsoffenestrationproductssuchasoperating(orremovable)windowsashes,stormsashes,andslidingglassdoorpanels(hereafterreferredtoassashmembers)toforcestendingtodeglazetheconstruction.1.2Thesetestmethodsutilizeconcentratedloadsappliedtotheinteriorsideofasashmemberinamannersimulatingnormalopeningandclosingforces.Removablesashesareloadedtosimulatehandlingforremovalandcleaning.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Themetric(SI)equivalentsofinch-poundunitsmaybeapproximate.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
